Samsung DIDs Are More Reliable

Low, uniform panel temperatures - Samsung DIDs feature an advanced heat dissipation structure to lower panel temperatures. They offer high brightness (up to 1500 nits) with controlled temperature, which extends panel lifetime, particularly compared to significantly hotter TV technologies.

Flexible installation – DID panels can be installed either in landscape or portrait format and feature a sticker to identify the proper direction to turn the display for best performance. However, direction doesn’t impact temperature or lamp lifetime.

Consistent brightness – Made using robust materials and given a special surface treatment, Samsung DIDs won’t turn yellow over time. They also boast a sophisticated dust-proof structure, which has performed 10~30 on the JIS Z8901 dust injection test.

Gravity-gap free – PVA mode has advantages for large DIDs. Vertically aligned liquid crystal molecules cannot migrate down to the bottom or the display; electrodes on each side strongly attract the molecules.

Extended lamp lifetime – Samsung DIDs offer higher brightness using less power, giving them the efficiency needed to extend lamp lifetime.

Large screens – Samsung DIDs are available in 40”, 46”, 52”(narrow bezel), 57”, 70” and 82” models. Samsung is the only supplier of 70” and 82” panels, which are the market’s largest LCD DIDs.

High brightness; sunlight readability – Samsung produces large “high bright” DIDs with 300% greater brightness than LCD TVs. These sunlight-readable Samsung DIDs are ideal for outdoor signage.

Narrow and black bezels – Samsung makes narrower bezels than other suppliers, offering bezels from 13.2 to 20mm, depending on screen size. Black bezels are also available; narrow black bezels are optimal for multi-screen displays.
