Multimedia Presentation
- Division-type presentation supporting one background design, one multimedia (video/image) area, two image slide show areas, and one ticker area
- Provide a handy tool, Skin Editor, with an intuitive drag-and-drop user interface. Users can define the size and location of each division, including video, image, and ticker, and create skin files for various resolutions
- Support most popular video codec and image file formats, such as MPEG 1/2/4, AVI, WMV 7/8/9, WMA, DivX, MP3, RAW DV, JPG, GIF, etc.
- Support various resolutions for both standard and wide screens: 640x480, 800x600, 1024x768, 1280x1024, 856x480, 1280x768
Playback Management
- Support multiple sources for the playback of multimedia files, including internal hard disk, USB flash disk, and real-time video/uni/multi/broadcast streamed from CMS or other supported streaming servers
- Support to be a standalone player or to work under a server-client structure when incorporating with CMS server
- Support real-time video broadcast, e.g. live TV programs. Administrators can remotely assign live video channels to players located in different sites, and schedule playlists with other media sources
- Support easy settings of ticker, which can deliver real-time messages of advertisements or information. Users can enter texts directly in the web-based management tool, or feed texts from a text file, URL or RSS feed
System Management
- Provide a web-based management tool for easy remote control of the settings and playback options of each media player
- Support remote update of multimedia content by Network Neighborhood over IP or by centralized content distribution with CMS server or a web server
- Able to cooperate with CMS server to update playlists, schedules, and content in groups
- Provide log function which can record the status of system, network, media player, and playback for management and analysis purposes
- Support system recovery function. System firmware can be restored to the factory default if needed.
- Support NTP service, which synchronizes the clocks of media players over a network
